I started Guided Home Prep because I kept seeing the same problem: families overwhelmed by a property that needed attention, with no clear idea where to start or who to trust.
I knew there had to be a simpler way to help people understand what mattered, coordinate the right resources, and move forward without carrying the whole burden themselves.
Why Guided Home Prep Exists
Before real estate, I spent nearly 20 years working in operations, planning, process improvement, and project management. That experience taught me how to take complicated situations, break them into manageable pieces, and keep people, timelines, and priorities moving in the same direction.
The idea for Guided Home Prep really took shape in 2023, when I worked with two families who lived out of state and were trying to manage their parents’ homes here in Pennsylvania. They needed more than a real estate agent. They needed someone local who could help figure out what needed to be done, coordinate the work, and keep everything moving while they handled life from hundreds of miles away.
I saw how much relief it gave them to have one person here taking ownership of the moving pieces. That was when I realized my years in operations and project management could solve a very different kind of problem.
Guided Home Prep was created to bring structure to that chaos. The goal is simple: help people understand what needs attention, coordinate the right help, and make the next step feel manageable.
